Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) is a surface based technique that measures changes in electrical resistance for profiling subsurface sediments and rock. ERT has applications to both geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigations.
ERT is not destructive or intrusive, so no ground disturbance is caused during the survey. The process is fast and portable for quick site reconnaissance.
Features
Modular multichannel array for customized investigations
Industry standard data collection equipment and analysis software
Add on precision GNSS survey for accurate georeferencing and locational information
Advantages
Rapid site investigation
Non-intrusive / non-destructive – no ground disturbance necessary
Rapidly deployed and highly portable – quick site reconnaissance
